Setting Up Your Clock

The sardine pendulum is clipped in place for safe transport, so a little setup is needed before first use:

1. Release the sardine pendulum from its transit clip on the back of the clock.
2. After releasing the pendulum make sure it hangs freely and can swing.
3. Insert 1 x AA battery (not included) into the battery tray.
4. Give the sardine a gentle nudge to set it going — the pendulum needs a small push to start and won't begin swinging on its own.
